With the Explorer Tool, the Conservation Lands Network is accessible to anyone, regardless of access to or skill in GIS.
Explore the many layers including vegetation types, rarity rankings, protected lands, streams, topography and more.
The Explorer Tool allows you to see where critical wildlife linkages cross the landscape in all Bay Area Counties. By adjusting the transparency of the linkages data layer, you can explore the land cover type below, whether protected, cropland or urban.
With the Explorer Tool you can draw the boundary of a property or area of interest, explore the natural resources that may be present, and access numerous datasets compiled or developed by the Conservation Lands Network. Generate detailed Biodiversity and Climate Portfolio Reports (PDF) that provide in depth information about the biodiversity and conservation values of the chosen area.
